Love Pool Care http://site.lovepoolcare.com/blog Just another $.02 Fri, 22 Apr 2011 21:56:50 +0000 en hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.1.3 Love Pool Care Special Pentair Pricing – Blog Viewers Only http://site.lovepoolcare.com/blog/2011/04/22/love-pool-care-special-pentair-pricing-blog-viewers-only/ http://site.lovepoolcare.com/blog/2011/04/22/love-pool-care-special-pentair-pricing-blog-viewers-only/#comments Fri, 22 Apr 2011 21:56:50 +0000 Administrator http://site.lovepoolcare.com/blog/?p=18 I haven’t been keeping this blog updated as nearly as often as I’d like (that will change, I promise)!  So, I thought I would provide some very nice discounts on Pentair equipment until our current inventory runs out.  The only advertised price for this will be located right here… in this blog.  Please know that our inventory runs dry rather quickly during April/May… so you may want to jump on board as quickly as possible…

  • Pentair VS-3050 (NEW & IMPROVED MODEL) Variable-Speed Pump: Installed: $1,200.00 plus tax or any necessary Jandy 3-way valves ($69.00 each).  This price already includes the $200.00 APS instant rebate that we process.  If you’re electric company is not APS, please add back the $200.00.  We’re an approved APS installer.  Each pump comes with a 1 year full warranty.  If you’re not sure how the new variable-speed technology works, you can view this well-explained video here: Variable-Speed Pump Demonstration.  These pumps are phenomenal, and are here to stay.
  • Pentair Kreepy Krauly Sand Shark automatic cleaner: $399.00 plus tax.  In addition, there’s currently a $100.00 rebate that the client can submit online and have processed.  So, the final cost to the client is $299.00 plus tax.  We can deliver the cleaner free of charge anywhere in the Phoenix Metro area.  Orders out-of-state have a flat $50.00 shipping and handling charge.  $399.00 is the lowest (minimum advertised price) advertising allowed under the Pentair program.  Each cleaner comes with a 2 year full warranty.  We do feel that the Sand Shark is one of the best suction-based automatic cleaners on the market right now.
  • Pentair IC40 Salt System: Installed:  $1,100.00 plus tax and AquaSalt ($8.95 per 40 lb. bag).  This includes the cell and power center.  Includes basic install.  Please not that there may be additional costs if we have to reconfigure any piping beyond a normal cell install.  Of course, we’d let you know about this before doing anything. Each salt system comes with a 1 year full warranty.  We really recommend salt systems be installed with new pool water.  It doesn’t make sense to install a new system if your calcium hardness, cyanuric acid, and other total dissolved solids are through the roof.  The major benefits of a salt system is having nice, silky water… something that can’t magically occur if your chemical balance is off.
  • Pentair Clean & Clear Plus 520 Cartridge Filter: Installed: $995.00 plus tax.  Includes basic install.  Does not include replacement of any valves or reconfigurations.  Also includes removal of existing filter.  Although most cartridge filter installs are basic, sometimes extra configuration is needed to properly install the filter. Each cartridge filter comes with a 1 year full warranty.  Cartridge filters are great for most pools.  They filter great, and have become easier to maintain.  Plus, installation is easier and more simple… no backwash valves to contend with.

As I mentioned, these are VERY good prices, and 20%-30% under our normal install rates.  Best of all, the installs would be completed by a licensed, insured, and A+ Better Business Bureau Accredited company.  As I mentioned, these rates can end at any time… based on our current inventory.

To order any equipment, please call our office (602-218-5302) or email info@lovepoolcare.com and mention the “blog advertising” so we know where you’re coming from!    We can get you scheduled in within 1-14 business days.

Love Pool Care Expands Into Tile Cleaning! http://site.lovepoolcare.com/blog/2010/10/26/love-pool-care-expands-into-tile-cleaning/ http://site.lovepoolcare.com/blog/2010/10/26/love-pool-care-expands-into-tile-cleaning/#comments Tue, 26 Oct 2010 18:02:36 +0000 Administrator http://site.lovepoolcare.com/blog/?p=12 Although our company (Love Pool Care) has provided tile, aggregate, and fountain cleanings for quite some time… we have decided to take the plunge and officially expand our company by going “in-house” with this segment of the market.  Years past we have worked closely with a few select “tile clean” operators across the Valley.  For the most part, our (and our client’s) needs were met.  However, we felt that we needed better control over scheduling, type of blast materials used on our client’s tile, quality of the work provided… which ultimately will lead to lower pricing for our clients.

After extensive research and training, we’re now offering Love Pool Tile (a Divison Of Love Pool Care).  We’re properly licensed with the Arizona Registrar Of Contractors, Bonded, and Fully Insured.  We offer any types of waterline tile, aggregate, and fountain mineral/hardness cleaning.  In addition, we install all types of waterline tile (including spa spillovers and dam walls).  We do have a showroom that includes samples of most tiles (ceramic, glass, mosaic, etc), which can be visited anytime during normal business hours.

We provide free estimates throughout the Valley, and can schedule any job within 1-3 business days!  To schedule any work, feel free to use the web form on our web site (http://www.lovepoolcare.com/webform.html) or e-mail us at tile@lovepoolcare.com.

First blog post! http://site.lovepoolcare.com/blog/2010/05/19/first-blog-post/ http://site.lovepoolcare.com/blog/2010/05/19/first-blog-post/#comments Wed, 19 May 2010 21:39:07 +0000 Administrator http://site.lovepoolcare.com/blog/?p=5 Since it seems everyone is giving their $.02 in these days via blogs, Facebook, or Twitter… I thought I might chime in and possibly do the same.  Some topics or thoughts might not be the same as yours, but it wouldn’t be any fun if they were… right?  I’m pretty forthright, and have some strong opinions on small-business (and sports).  Plus, as I understand, blogging helps your web site get listed higher in search engines.  So, this certainly can’t hurt.

My name is Michael Love, and my company is Love Pool Care.  We’re located in Phoenix, Arizona and we provide a full-line of swimming services to clients across the Valley.  We have dedicated employees that have help build our company into what it is today.  We have a lot of work left to do before we figure out how to successfully “master” running a super-busy service-oriented company, however I’d like to thing that we’re doing a decent job of making things as efficient as possible.  Protocols are put into place and implemented, but things change rapidly.  Adapting to the growth (and change) is the most challenging part.  Being someone who detests losing in anything, these challenges are welcomed.

No matter what systems we put in place, we still have to compete with uneducated “fly-by-night” companies that sometimes give our industry a poor image.  While I’m not against legit, licensed, bonded, or insured start-ups… I do have problems with the companies that don’t feel the need to make this investment.  These companies operate on their own free will, with no respect for the companies who try and operate legally.  They slap a sign on their truck door, offer $59.00 service (read the fine print), buy a pole and a net… and presto… call themselves a “company”.  Often, pool owner’s will call us (or other licensed companies) to help them clean up the mess left behind.  While I’m against too much government regulation, someone needs to keep these guys away from swimming pools. I know other legit companies are concerned about this, but rarely does it ever get dealt with. More on this later…

- Let’s hope Amare decides to guard Lamar Odom tonight. :)
